About the Coastal Southeast

Living in Savannah, the Atlantic Ocean is 20 minutes away…Tybee Island, GA; or 40 minutes away…Hilton Head Island, SC.  The beaches are filled with sea oats waving in the breezes, lovely shorebirds, and wide sands accommodating the deep tides.  Lots of fun umbrellas, children, kayaks, boats, sunshine, and balmy nights, all captured in these paintings.  On the way to the beaches, one must cross multiple marshes with their gorgeous golden grasses in the summer; rustic colors in the winter; glistening in the sun, waving in the high tides, showing off their beds of oysters at low tide, feeding the birds and fish, providing a boater’s heaven, and at the end of the day, a perfect sunset.
